Today’s Website Improvements
Made several significant improvements to the website today:
Archives Page
- Added a “Dailies” section to the Archives page with a clean calendar icon
- Styled the link to align perfectly with the page design
- Removed “Daily Logs” from the main menu for cleaner navigation
Home Page Redesign
- Completely revamped the home page layout
- Added “Also seen on:” section with aligned social media icons
- Improved spacing and typography across the page
- Made the layout more consistent with proper line heights
- Kept only important navigation links underlined for better visual hierarchy
Added “Now” Page
- Created a new “Now” page to showcase current activities
- Implemented auto-updating timestamp using Git information
- Added professional focus, learning, reading, and projects sections
- Created a custom shortcode for timestamp display
Overall, today’s changes focused on better organization, improved navigation, and a cleaner, more consistent design across the site.
